Full Licence information

Full Licence - Unristricted

• To get your full licence you must pass a Driving Qualification Test (DQT) at your local RTA office and this will cost $35.00 for each attempt
• When you pass you test you will have the option of a 1 year Licence costing $45.00 or a 3 year licence costing $106.00 or a 5 Year licence costing $142.00
• Mobile phones are only to be used with hands free
• By law seatbelts must be worn by all occupants of the vehicle and approved child restraints fitted
• You can supervise learner drivers
• No automatic vehicle restrictions apply
• No towing restrictions apply
• You can learn to drive a truck or a bus up to multi combination class (MC)
• If you loose 12 or more demerit points during the term of your licence, action will be taken to suspend the licence please note that demerit points will carry over from your P2 licence
• You must be bellow .05 Blood Alcohol Concentration and .02 if you drive a truck or bus Zero (nil) Blood Alcohol Concentration is at all times recommended (check with your doctor because some medication can‘t be used when driving)
